Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is a Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is available in a plain color printed in ecru/cream, with a CMYK of 8 4 34 0. This color is characterized by its softness and elegance, making it ideal for the confection of high-quality garments. It combines especially well with dark and neutral tones, such as black, brown, or gray.

The fabric is printed on one side only by digital textile printing, which prevents the color from being seen on the reverse side of the fabric. In terms of its general characteristics, its softness to the touch and its elasticity stand out, which makes it perfect for fitted and body-hugging garments. In addition, its high grammage makes it a resistant and durable fabric.

The base fabric is mainly used in the confection of fashion garments, for both women and men, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. It can also be used in home textile decoration, such as dining napkins. As for care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use trichloroethylene in the dry cleaning process, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.

The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for high-quality printing on the fabric. This technique consists of applying special inks to a sheet of paper, which are placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures and pressure, causing the inks to turn into vapor and permanently adhere to the fibers of the fabric.
