The base fabric used in this textile is the Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon, a knitted fabric made of 97% polyester and 3% elastane with a grammage of 282 gr/m2. It has a width of 150 cm and is suitable for use in fashion garments for both women and men, as well as in home textiles. The plain printed color is Slate Grey, whose color attributes are made up of Cyan (56), Magenta (44), Yellow (36) and Black (21) inks, with a CMYK of 56 44 36 21.
Slate Grey is a sober color that balances warmth and coolness. Its neutral tone allows it to be combined with a wide range of colors while always maintaining elegance and harmony. It is a color that provides stability, security, and confidence, and adapts to any occasion and season. In combination with other cool colors such as blue, green, or purple, it accentuates freshness and calm. While with warm colors such as red, yellow, or orange, it creates a vibrant and energetic contrast.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed, so its durability is high. The texture is soft and comfortable, making it an ideal fabric for knitwear that requires flexibility and comfort.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its great elasticity and its wash fastness stand out, which guarantees a long useful life for garments made with it. In addition, its softness allows for great comfort when used in close-fitting garments.
Regarding its applications and uses, the fabric is very versatile and suitable for fashion garments for both women and men, from t-shirts and trousers to sweaters and dresses. It can also be used in home textile items such as dining napkins, due to its great wash resistance and softness.
To maintain its quality, a maximum washing temperature of 30°C is recommended, do not bleach, avoid tumble drying, and iron at a cool temperature. This fabric is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, a process by which ink is printed onto special transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This method allows for high color fidelity and high resolution in the printed image.
