Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. Its weight is 282 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The solid color printed is Rubber Duck Yellow, which is obtained through a combination of CMYK inks: 7 14 76 0. Rubber Duck Yellow is a soft and bright color that conveys joy and positivity. It combines very well with colors such as white, gray and light blue.

This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but printed, which allows for greater precision in designs and a wider variety of colors and effects.

Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its soft texture to the touch stands out. This fabric is very versatile and is mainly used in fashion garments for women and men, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, sweaters, as well as in home textiles, such as napkins. Its use is mainly limited to the winter season due to its weight.

Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to bleach the fabric. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. It is possible to iron the fabric, but at a cold temperature, and it should not be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is used to print on polyester and other synthetic fabrics. This technique uses special inks that turn into gas when heat is applied, penetrating the fiber of the fabric and generating precise and vibrant designs.
