The base fabric of this textile is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which gives it great elasticity and resistance. Its weight is 282 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The plain printed color is Cloud Gray, with a CMYK of 20 12 17 0, which makes it a neutral and very versatile color. This secondary color has a soft and elegant appearance, with gray hues but not dark. It shares similarities with other colors such as beige, light blue or emerald green.
It should be noted that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed, but has a layer of printed ink that penetrates the fiber forming a chemical bond.
The fabric has a soft texture and a pleasant feel. The elasticity provided by the elastane allows for good adaptability and comfort in garments made from this fabric. In addition, the weight of 282 gr/m2 provides good body to the garments without being heavy. Cloud Gray is a very versatile color, very easy to combine with other colors.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are womens and mens fashion, in knit garments such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, sweaters and accessories, along with home textiles for napkins. Thanks to its softness and resistance, it is also used for making baby clothes.
The care of the fabric should be done with delicacy, it is advisable not to bleach it or wash it at a temperature higher than 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene and it is recommended to iron the fabric at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is Sublimation (polyester), which consists of the transformation of ink into vapor by means of heat and pressure, achieving a durable image quality resistant to the passage of time and dyeing.
