The base fabric is Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is Silk Blue, with Cyan ink: 72, Magenta: 34, Yellow: 2, and Black: 0, forming a CMYK of 72 34 2 0. This blue tone offers a soft and fresh sensation, like silk, symbolizing tranquility and balance in the color palette. Additionally, it can be excellently combined with neutral tones such as white and gray, as well as with brighter colors like yellow, orange, and pink.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means a technique is used to transfer the high-resolution image directly onto the fabric surface, without dilution or leaving it on the surface. Digital textile printing is not a dyeing process, but direct printing, which means the color is applied more quickly and precisely, resulting in a vibrant and long-lasting effect.
The base fabric offers a soft texture to the touch due to its elasticized composition, allowing excellent adaptability to the body. Furthermore, it is wear-resistant and has a wide variety of applications and uses, including womens and mens knitwear, tops, t-shirts, trousers, dresses, sweaters, and even dining napkins. It is a popular choice for winter fashion due to its resistance to cold.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring a digital image printed onto a polyester fabric by means of heat and pressure, producing a durable and high-quality result. This process allows for accurate reproduction of the design quickly and efficiently, with sharp and vibrant colors.
