Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is Ponte Roma Stretch - Lyon, a knit fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. Its weight is 282 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a sapphire blue with a CMYK of 96 66 13 2, indicating a high presence of cyan and magenta, and less yellow and black. This color can be combined very well with shades of gray, beige, and white.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color is not dyed into the fabric but has been printed on one side. The texture of the base fabric is soft to the touch, making it very pleasant against the skin.

Among the applications and uses of the fabric are knit garments for women or men, from tops, t-shirts, and pants, to dresses and sweaters. In addition, it also has applications in home textiles, such as napkins for dining rooms. It is a recommended fabric for the winter season, thanks to its weight and composition which give it good protection against the cold.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach or use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning. The maximum washing temperature is 30ºC and it can be ironed at a cool temperature, but it cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which allows the ink to adhere durably to the fabric surface through the use of heat and pressure. This printing method is ideal for textiles, as it produces sharp images and vibrant colors on a wide variety of fabrics.
