The base fabric is Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric composed of 97% POLYESTER and 3% ELASTANE, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a light Blue-Violet Blue generated with a combination of 48% Cyan Ink, 22% Magenta Ink, 3% Yellow Ink, and 0% Black Ink. This secondary color symbolizes tranquility, inner peace, and the evocation of nature, and pairs perfectly with other colors such as white, gray, and dusty pink. The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning the image is transferred directly to the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it stands out for its soft and pleasant texture, making it ideal for comfortable garments. As for the plain color, it is resistant and durable, with high colorfastness that guarantees its long-term durability. The base fabric is suitable for use in womens and mens fashion, as well as for textile/home applications such as dining napkins. In addition, it is ideal for knitted garments such as tops, t-shirts, trousers, dresses, and sweaters.
To care for this fabric, it is recommended not to use bleach or tumble dryers, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron at a low temperature. Dry cleaning is also recommended, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (POLYESTER). Digital textile sublimation printing is a process in which the image is printed on transfer paper and pressed onto the fabric with a heat press. The heat converts the ink from the paper into gas, which binds to the fabric and is permanently fixed upon cooling. This process allows for high image quality and a wide variety of possible designs.
