The base fabric, Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon, is a twill weave with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, providing elasticity and a soft touch. Its weight of 209 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm allow for great versatility in its application. The plain color printed on this fabric is medium Orchid Purple, with a CMYK of 24 45 5 0. This color presents a medium intensity purple tone that, when combined with other shades of the same range, such as lilac or pink, provides a feeling of delicacy and elegance. This color is perfect for applications in fashion, accessories, and home textiles.
The base fabric has a rough and elastic feel, allowing for greater freedom of movement and comfort in use. In addition, its softness and resistance make it ideal for making clothing, accessories, and home textiles. On the other hand, the printed plain color presents great intensity and vibrancy in its tone, which brings a sense of luminosity and vitality in its application.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which allows for great precision in the reproduction of designs and colors. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but printed on one side.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are the making of pants, skirts, jeans, shorts, dresses, accessories, and home textiles such as cloths, cushions, napkins, and paintings. Thanks to its resistance and elasticity, it is also very useful for making decorative frames.
It is important to consider the care instructions for this fabric, such as avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. In addition, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring the design printed on special paper through heat and pressure to the surface of the fabric. This method allows for great fidelity in design reproduction and great resistance over time.
