Description

The base fabric, Bi-elastic Twill - Lisboa, has a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, a weight of 209 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. Regarding its color, the solid print is a dark forest green with a CMYK content of 69 45 85 45. This color conveys a sense of naturalness and tranquility, drawing inspiration from nature. This secondary color combines perfectly with brown and earthy tones, oranges, and golds, but can also be combined with blues, adding a touch of freshness. It is important to mention that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, which means the back of the fabric is white.

As for the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can say that its texture is rough, elastic, and soft to the touch. Additionally, it is a bi-elastic fabric that offers great comfort thanks to its elasticity in both directions. Among the attributes of the base fabric, we can highlight that it is easy to work with and sew. Regarding applications and uses, the Bi-elastic Twill - Lisboa is ideal for fashion apparel such as trousers, jeans, skirts, or shorts, as well as accessories. It can also be used in the textile/home sector for making cushions, dishcloths, napkins, or even for creating decorative pieces like embroidery hoops or framed art.

It is important to consider the necessary care to keep the fabric in perfect condition. The fabric should not be bleached and can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, ironing should be at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which uses a high-precision thermal transfer technique to stamp designs onto the fabric surface. The image is printed on transfer paper, which is placed in contact with the fabric and exposed to high temperatures so that the ink transfers to the fabric. This process allows for vibrant and defined colors, with great fidelity to the original design.
