The base fabric of this textile is the Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Gulf Blue, which uses a cyan ink of 26, a magenta of 7, a yellow of 5, and no black ink, with a CMYK of 26 7 5 0. This color is described as a lively and refreshing tone that can be combined with other blues, greens, and grays.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color is present on only one surface of the fabric, not throughout the entire fabric. The characteristics of the base fabric include a rough texture, an elastic and soft feel. The attributes of the printed color include its high definition and durability, as well as its resistance to fading and wear.
Among the possible applications and uses of this fabric are the making of garments such as pants, skirts, jeans, shorts, and dresses, as well as accessories and household items such as kitchen towels, cushions, napkins, and embroidery hoops. It is also suitable for creating paintings and outdoor decorative elements.
Regarding the necessary care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and requires cold ironing. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which employs a special ink printer to permanently transfer the ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure. This ensures high image quality and long-lasting printed color.
