The Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon base fabric is a type of twill with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Hosta blue shade with a CMYK of 84,34,34,14. This color symbolizes trust and security, and technically, it is easily combinable with other shades of blue, greens, and grays.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric has a rough and elastic texture, which provides great comfort and flexibility. The solid printed color has a soft and pleasant feel to the touch.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we find mens and womens fashion, such as pants, skirts, jeans, shorts, and dresses, as well as fashion accessories. For home textiles, it is suitable for the kitchen, such as dishcloths and cushions, and as napkins for the dining room. It is also suitable for decorating paintings and frames, indoor and outdoor cushions, and can be used for making bedroom and living room garments.
It is important to consider the care instructions to keep the fabric in the best condition, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not using a tumble dryer. In addition, the fabric allows dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process in which solid ink is used that converts directly into gas when subjected to heat and pressure, allowing the ink to adhere perfectly to the fabric and ensure high-quality printing.
