The base fabric is Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, with a composition of 100% organic cotton, a weight of 195 gr/m2, and a width of 160cm. The plain printed color is a Dark Purple shade with a CMYK of 71 87 42 51. This color symbolizes elegance and sophistication, while technically it is a deep and vibrant color. It pairs well with colors like grey and black to create a more serious feel, and with lighter colors like pink or yellow to give a more cheerful and fresh appearance. This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the image is transferred directly to the fabric surface instead of being dyed in the yarn.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft yet rigid feel, making it ideal for use in fashion and home decor. As for the plain color, digital textile printing gives it high quality and durability, as well as a great ability to capture details and nuances. Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are decorating frames and pictures, making clothes such as trousers, overshirts, jeans, and shorts, among others. It is also perfect for making various accessories and decorative home items, such as cushions, table runners, tablecloths, and napkins, among others.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to follow the recommended care instructions, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and preferably opting for dry cleaning. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is REACTIVE DIRECT DIGITAL (NATURAL FIBERS), which consists of a process where dyes are applied directly to the fabric fibers through digital printing. This allows for greater definition and detail in the printed image, as well as great color durability and high resistance to fading. Furthermore, this technology is much more environmentally friendly than other industrial printing processes.
