The base fabric, an Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, has a solid color printed in Slate Gray, with an ink content of Cyan 56, Magenta 44, Yellow 36, and Black 21, reflecting a very neutral and elegant tone. This color results in an understated, yet very warm shade that easily combines with other colors.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, it is soft to the touch but firm in its rigidity, which makes it perfectly adaptable to any application assigned to it. Twill is a resistant type of fabric, which allows for a quality finish when it comes to high-end materials, resulting in a highly durable garment or fashion accessory.
As for the attributes of the base fabric, we find great versatility in its application for decorations, both in embroidery hoops and frames, as well as in womens and mens fashion, in the making of trousers, overshirts, jeans, shorts or bermudas, accessories, toiletry bags, and coin purses. Furthermore, thanks to its resistance, it becomes a reliable material for making cushions and other home textiles such as tablecloths, table runners, placemats, and napkins.
For the care of the base fabric, it is important not to bleach, not to use temperatures above 30ºC when washing, not to iron with high temperatures, and not to use a tumble dryer. Dry cleaning is allowed, with the exception of using trichloroethylene.
Reactive direct digital printing is the method used to print on one side of the Organic Cotton Twill, where the designs are printed directly onto the fibers, thus obtaining better quality, sharpness, and definition. This method results in high color fixation and greater durability of the fabric.
