The base fabric is an Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, weighing 195 gr/m2 and 160 cm wide. The solid color printed on the fabric is Eggplant Purple, which is obtained by combining Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks, using CMYK (51, 100, 19, 13). This secondary color evokes an air of mystery and sophistication, and pairs especially well with neutral tones such as white, gray, and black, as well as with other shades of purple and dark pink hues.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, ensuring high quality and precision in the finish. Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its texture is soft to the touch yet rigid, making it suitable for various applications in home décor and fashion. Furthermore, its 100% organic cotton composition makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly option.
Suggested applications and uses for this fabric include decoration with frames and artwork, clothing items such as trousers, overshirts, jeans, shorts or Bermudas, as well as accessories like toiletry bags or purses. It is also ideal for cushions in bedrooms or living rooms, table runners, placemats, and tablecloths for dining rooms. Its GOTS-ORGANIC CU1016503 certification guarantees its organic and sustainable origin.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is recommended not to use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, to iron at a cool temperature, and to avoid tumble dryers.
The printing technology used for this fabric is reactive direct digital printing, which uses special inks for natural fibers and allows for high resolution and sharpness in the print. This technique involves printing the ink directly onto the fabric surface, penetrating the cotton fibers and ensuring a durable and wash-resistant finish.
