The base fabric is Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, with a weight of 195 gr/m2, a width of 160 cm, and a composition of 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. The plain printed color is an intense orange called "Basketball Orange," which is obtained by combining CYMK inks in the following proportions: 16 69 97 5. This color is identified by its strength and energy, symbolizing creativity, passion, and enthusiasm. It can be combined with bright colors to amplify its intensity, but also with more subdued colors to contrast and showcase its presence.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, employing reactive direct printing technology on natural fibers. The combination of twill and organic cotton gives the fabric a soft yet crisp texture, offering excellent quality and durability in the print.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft and crisp feel, as well as its sustainable organic cotton certification. Its applications and uses are diverse, including skirts, trousers, overshirts, shorts or bermudas, accessories, and interior and exterior decoration, such as cushions, table runners, and tablecloths.
For the care of this fabric, bleaching should be avoided, and the maximum washing temperature should not exceed 30ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a low temperature is recommended, and tumble drying is not permitted.
Finally, reactive direct printing technology on natural fibers consists of using liquid reactive inks that penetrate the fabrics fibers, causing a chemical fixation between them. This process allows high precision and definition in the details and colors of the print, as well as excellent color fastness and durability.
