The base fabric of this textile is an Organic Cotton Twill called Florencia, which has a composition of 100% organic cotton. Its weight is 195 gr/m2 and its width is 160 cm. The solid color printed is a combination of black and dark grey with a CMYK of 61 52 55 51. This dark tone symbolizes elegance and sobriety. In addition, it combines very well with bright colors such as red, orange, and yellow.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric but printed. The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch and rigid in appearance, characteristics that are due to the weaving technique used in its manufacturing and its organic cotton composition.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft texture that provides comfort when in contact with the skin, its rigidity that gives the fabric solidity and durability, and its breathability that allows proper body ventilation. As for the printed solid color, it offers excellent saturation and definition of shades to achieve an elegant finish.
The Organic Cotton Twill - Florencia can be used for different applications and uses such as decoration in frames, paintings, bedroom and living room cushions, table runners and tablecloths, among others. In addition, it is ideal for fashion in garments such as pants, overshirts, jeans, shorts, and bermudas. It is also used for the manufacture of accessories such as toiletry bags and coin purses.
The care that should be taken into account for this fabric are: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The fabric is manufactured using reactive direct digital printing technology (natural fibers), which consists of printing directly on the fabric surface with reactive ink to obtain excellent color fixation. This technique allows a wide range of colors and high levels of detail and sharpness in the design.
