This base fabric is a 195 gr/m2 Organic Cotton Twill, with a composition of 100% GOTS certified organic cotton and a width of 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Hosta Blue, which is obtained by a combination of cyan, magenta, yellow and black in a 66-15-20-1 CMYK printing pattern.
Hosta Blue is a fresh color that evokes purity, tranquility, and nature. Symbolically, it is associated with water and landscape. Technically, it is a shade that combines blue, grey, and green. It complements neutral colors such as white, black, and earth tones well.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the color is applied only to one side of the fabric and is not dyed throughout its entire length.
Among the general characteristics of this base fabric, we can highlight its softness and rigidity to the touch, which gives it an interesting texture when used in various applications. As for the solid printed color, its vibrant shades and its fidelity to the original design colors stand out.
As for the applications and uses of this base fabric, we can mention that it is especially suitable for interior decoration, such as cushions for the bedroom or living room, for making clothes such as trousers, shirts or shorts, and for making accessories such as toiletry bags or purses.
It is important to keep in mind some specific care instructions for this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Dry cleaning is also allowed, except with trichloroethylene. In addition, it can be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is direct reactive digital, which means that it uses reactive inks to dye the natural fibers of the fabric through a sublimation process. In this way, a print with great sharpness and color fidelity is achieved, which guarantees the quality and durability of the fabric.
