The Organic Cotton Twill - Florence is a fabric made of 100% organic cotton, with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. This fabric, certified by GOTS - ORGANIC CU1016503, is sustainable and features reactive direct digital printing technology (natural fibers), which allows for excellent quality and durability of the printed color.
The base fabric color is a blueberry blue, which has been achieved through a combination of CMYK inks, specifically 94% cyan, 63% magenta, 7% yellow, and 0% black. Through this ink combination, a vibrant and striking color has been created, which pairs perfectly with white and gray colors, as well as with other shades of blue in particular.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with solid color on one side using digital textile printing, so it is important to keep this in mind when combining or using it in sewing projects.
The characteristics of the base fabric are soft to the touch and rigid at the same time, making it ideal for a variety of applications and uses such as decoration, fashion, accessories, and textile/home. Among the uses for which this fabric is ideal are the creation of trousers, overshirts, jeans, cushions, tablecloths, placemats, and much more.
Caring for this fabric is important for its preservation and durability. Therefore, specific care instructions must be followed, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not using bleach or a tumble dryer, and ironing at a cool temperature. In addition, dry cleaning is permitted, with the exception of trichloroethylene.
Finally, reactive direct digital printing technology is a technique used to print designs on fabrics through a combination of inks and heat. This technique allows for high-quality and detailed printing, ensuring that the printed color has exceptional durability and does not fade over time.
