Twill - Prada

The Sarga-Prada base fabric is a twill composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Marron-Panaderos Brown, with an ink combination of 40 cyan, 61 magenta, 80 yellow, and 53 black, which produces an earthy and neutral tone with brownish and chocolate nuances. This secondary color is associated with earth, warmth, and security, and combines with light tones such as white, beige, and cream, as well as with other dark neutrals.

It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the image or design is printed directly onto the fabric surface using high-definition printing technology.

The general characteristics of the base fabric and its printed solid color are its softness to the touch and its thinness, making it ideal for fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories like scarves, especially in summer seasons. In addition, the blend of polyester and elastane ensures good elasticity and durability, allowing the garment to fit comfortably to the body.

Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, it is also used in clothing such as pants, jackets, and suits, as well as in decoration and upholstery.

To maintain the quality of the fabric and color, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron at a cool temperature. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used in this type of fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design or image directly to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring high resolution and color fidelity.
