The base fabric for this description is Sarga-Prada, composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a combination of organic green and brown, with a CMYK of 33 31 79 13. This color is the result of using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. The secondary color, organic brown, evokes earth and nature, while green refers to freshness and vitality. Organic brown combines especially well with golden, orange, and darker green tones, while green merges perfectly with earthy and neutral shades.
It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, not being a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture of this fabric is soft and thin, making it ideal for light and comfortable clothing. Regarding the base fabric, it is highly resistant and elastic, making it perfect for pieces that require high mobility.
As for the applications and uses of the base fabric, it is recommended for both womens and mens fashion, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves. In addition, the fabric can also be used in the making of accessories, thanks to its softness and flexibility.
Regarding the care of the fabric, bleaching should be avoided and, if washed, the maximum temperature should be 30ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except for the use of trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature, avoiding the use of tumble dryers for drying.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing an image previously designed on a computer onto transfer paper. Then, the paper is placed on the fabric and heat and pressure are applied so that the ink transfers to the fabric, creating a crisp and vibrant image. This process is specifically indicated for printing on polyester fabrics and consists of the sublimation of colors on the surface of the fabric.
