Twill - Prada

The Sarga-Prada base fabric is a twill fabric composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is slate gray, with a CMYK of 56 44 36 21. This color is a dark gray with a hint of blue, conveying a sense of elegance and sobriety. It combines very well with other neutral tones such as black, white, and brown, as well as with more vibrant colors like red and navy blue.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the back of the fabric is white or natural in color. This printing technique allows for more vivid and sharp colors on the fabric surface, although it may be less resistant to abrasion than dyed fabrics.

Regarding general characteristics, the Sarga-Prada fabric has a soft and delicate texture and feel, thanks to its composition with elastane which provides a certain elasticity and flexibility. It is a medium-weight fabric that adapts well to different types of garments and accessories, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, or scarves.

As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned, it is also suitable for sportswear or everyday wear, as well as for interior decoration, such as cushions or curtains. Its natural texture and drape allow for creating garments with volume and movement.

To maintain the quality and durability of the Sarga-Prada fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not bleach, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid using a tumble dryer. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.

Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which consists of first printing the ink on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for obtaining bright and durable colors on polyester fabrics and blends with polyester, as is the case with the Sarga-Prada fabric.
