The base fabric is a Twill - Prada made of 96% polyester and 4% elastane with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed color is Refractory Brick Red, with a CMYK of 16 87 71 6, which means it contains a high proportion of magenta and yellow, giving it a unique depth and unmistakable appearance. This color pairs especially well with earthy tones, greens, and golds.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side, allowing the color to be vibrant and long-lasting.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft texture and is quite thin, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look. As for the printed color, its high printing quality ensures that it retains its hue even after several washes, without losing its brightness and intensity.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are womens/mens fashion for making shirts, skirts, blouses, and dresses, as well as for manufacturing accessories such as scarves. This type of fabric is especially suitable for the summer season, as its light and soft texture makes it very comfortable to wear in warm climates.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach it and to maintain a maximum washing temperature of 30 ºC, as well as to avoid using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and air-dried, avoiding the tumble dryer.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), where the ink vaporizes and fuses with the fabric fibers, allowing for high fidelity in color reproduction and high resistance to washing and wear.
