The base fabric of this textile is Prada twill, a fabric with a composition of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, which gives it a certain elasticity that makes it perfect for body-hugging garments. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is a good quality and dense fabric. As for the printed plain color, it is an ivy blue tone, which is achieved by using a specific combination of CMYK inks (87 46 10 1).
This color has a touch of freshness and vitality, ideal for summer garments. The characteristic relief of the twill gives it an elegant and sophisticated look, and it combines especially well with neutral tones such as white, black, or grey. It can also be combined with other shades of blue, green, or brown to give it a more varied color palette.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but digitally printed on the surface of the fabric. As for its characteristics, Prada twill is soft to the touch and delicate, which makes it perfect for light and fluid garments. In addition, the printed color has great resistance to washing and wear, making it a durable option.
As for its applications and uses, Prada twill is perfect for both womens and mens fashion, especially for shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories such as scarves. Due to its elegance and sophistication, it can also be used for more formal and evening garments. In addition, its elegant appearance can also be used for interior decoration design.
To maintain the quality and appearance of the fabric, it must be treated with care. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at maximum temperatures of 30ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, but avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a low temperature, avoiding the use of a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which involves the use of a chemical process that allows the transfer of ink through heat and pressure on the surface of the fabric, which guarantees a high-quality and resistant print.
