The base fabric, Sarga-Prada, is composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is bright navy blue, with a cyan ink of 88, magenta of 51, yellow of 2, and black of 0, which translates to a CMYK of 88 51 2 0. This secondary color is characterized by its elegance and serenity, being composed of sober and deep shades of blue, which evokes trust, security, and authority. Navy blue combines very well with colors such as white, cream, gray, pink, red, and pastel tones like yellow, aqua green, and lilac.
The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for precise and high-quality colors, with the ability to print any design. Its feel is soft and thin, making it perfect for clothing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its texture and softness, which makes it ideal for fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories like scarves. Its use is mainly for the summer season due to its freshness and lightness.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. A tumble dryer should not be used to avoid damaging the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester, which allows the transfer of ink through heat and pressure, resulting in a high-quality and resistant print on the fabric.
