The base fabric is a Prada twill, composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, making it ideal for both womens and mens fashion for garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories like scarves. The fabric color is an elegant dark slate blue, achieved through single-sided digital textile printing with a Cyan ink of 100, Magenta of 90, Yellow of 35, and Black of 24, which is a CMYK of 100 90 35 24. This color pairs perfectly with neutral colors like beige, white, and black, as well as lighter blue tones.
The base fabric is characterized by a soft and delicate texture with a thin appearance. Furthermore, being primarily composed of polyester, its resistance is high, offering good durability over time. On the other hand, its digital printing achieves a smooth and uniform finish, with great detail and color definition.
Prada twill is a very versatile fabric, ideal for fashion due to the elasticity provided by the elastane. It is mainly used in summer due to its lightness and breathability. Its applications, as we have indicated, focus on mens and womens fashion, especially in skirts, dresses, and shirts, although it also lends itself to high-quality scarves. Regarding fabric care, we recommend not bleaching it and washing it with water at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and dry cleaning is permitted, except for trichloroethylene. It should not be tumble dried under any circumstances.
The printing technology used for the production of this fabric is sublimation. This method consists of transferring ink from a printed plate to the fabric through heat and pressure, achieving a high-quality and very resistant print.
