The base fabric of this textile is a Cotton Sateen called White Satin, with a composition of 100% cotton. This Sateen has a weight of 168 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Cantaloupe, a warm orange in which Yellow and Magenta inks predominate, and to a lesser extent Cyan and Black inks, with a CMYK of 13 45 67 2. This secondary color represents a sweetness that attracts and stimulates the senses, in addition to providing vitality, energy, and joy. It is a color that combines well with another secondary color that would be advised to use in the same range, such as a light yellow, and with a wide range of neutral colors, such as white, black, gray, and beige. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which indicates that it is a printed fabric and not dyed.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its soft texture and thinness, which provides comfort and lightness to garments. It awakens a feeling of freshness in summer, so it is recommended for use in garments for this season. Both the base fabric and the printed color do not lose their softness over time, which translates into greater durability. Applications and uses of this fabric include fashion garments for women and men, such as shirts, dresses, and skirts; and in the home as pillowcases and sheets.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach this fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
This fabric is made with reactive direct digital printing technology, which consists of the direct application of the color inks to the textile fiber through a subsequent drying and fixing process. This technique allows for intense and precise colors, and is environmentally friendly, as it reduces energy and water consumption and minimizes the emission of waste into water and air.
