Cotton Sateen, also known as White Satin, is a Sateen/Satin type fabric made from 100% cotton. Its weight is 168 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. This fabric has a plain color printed in white or off-white, with Cyan ink at 8, Magenta ink at 5, Yellow ink at 15, and Black ink at 0, which translates to a CMYK of 8 5 15 0. This secondary color is soft and delicate, combining very well with pastel shades such as pink, light blue, or lilac, as well as with more vibrant tones, such as red or orange.
It is worth noting that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that its surface is not dyed but printed on one side. As for its characteristics, the base fabric has a soft and delicate texture to the touch, perfectly aligning the shine and drape necessary for clothing. For its part, the plain printed color is delicate and contrasts with the glossy surface of the sateen, which generates a visual sensation of elegance.
As for its applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for dresses and skirts, as well as for shirts, sheets, and pillowcases. In addition, it is perfect for use in home textiles or decoration projects. The pastel and delicate tones combine perfectly in a romantic decoration environment, but this does not exclude its integration into environments with a more striking style.
To properly care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a warm temperature. Likewise, it is advisable to tumble dry this fabric at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is direct reactive digital for natural fibers. This technology allows for high-quality printing on the surface of the fabric, thus achieving intense and long-lasting colors. In addition, printing is done directly on the fabric, which guarantees high precision in all design details and a soft touch, as well as ensuring that the print does not deteriorate over time or crack.
