Cotton Sateen - White Satin

The base fabric, Cotton Sateen - White Satin, is a sateen fabric made of 100% cotton with a weight of 168 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a shade of gray called Gainsboro, with a CMYK content of 16 11 11 0. This secondary color is characterized by being a mix of white, gray, and brown tones, which provides a feeling of elegance, sobriety, and sophistication. It combines very well with other warmer shades of gray, blues, and pale pinks.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the ink adheres only to the surface of the fabric and does not completely penetrate the fibers, making it more delicate than a dyed fabric.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and its solid color, its soft and thin texture stands out, which makes it very pleasant to the touch and easy to handle. It is perfect for creating garments such as shirts, dresses, and skirts, as well as home textile items such as sheets and pillowcases.

As for care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron at a warm temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.

The printing technology used in this fabric is REACTIVE DIGITAL DIRECT, which allows direct printing on natural fibers such as cotton, through the application of reactive inks that chemically bond with the fibers. This provides greater fidelity in color reproduction and a soft and durable finish on the fabric.
