The base fabric is Spandex Cotton Sateen, with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color, Banana Yellow, is composed of 18 cyan, 2 magenta, 75 yellow, and 0 black in CMYK. Banana yellow symbolizes happiness, optimism, and creativity. Technically, it is a warm and vibrant color that pairs very well with neutral tones such as greys, whites, and blacks, and with analogous tones such as oranges and reds.
The base fabric is printed with this solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the ink penetrates the fabric fibers to achieve a durable and vibrant color. The fabric is not dyed but printed, allowing for more complex and detailed effects.
In terms of general characteristics, Spandex Cotton Sateen fabric is soft to the touch and has a satin texture. The spandex gives it elasticity and flexibility, making it ideal for close-fitting garments. The solid printed color is bright and luminous, and stands out for its durability and resistance.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, pillowcases, napkins, dresses, shirts, jumpsuits, pants, and shorts or bermudas are notable. In addition, it can be used for making accessories such as purses and bags. Due to its characteristics, it is an ideal fabric for the winter season.
Regarding fabric care, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommendations. In this case, it is suggested not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning, iron at a low temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
It should be noted that this base fabric is printed using reactive direct digital printing technology for natural fibers. This technique allows for printing complex and detailed designs with vibrant and durable colors. The reactive ink interacts directly with the fabric fibers, ensuring high quality and respect for the environment.
