The base fabric for this material is the Jaspeado-Dubái Jersey Knit, a type of knit fabric made of 100% polyester. It has a weight of 135 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Periwinkle Purple, which is composed of 10 Cyan ink, 13 Magenta, 7 Yellow, and 0 Black, with a CMYK of 10 13 7 0.
Periwinkle Purple is a color that combines shades of lilac, violet, and pink, making it a very attractive, feminine, and modern tone. In particular, this color combines wonderfully with gray tones, whites, and even some bolder shades like yellow and olive green. The base fabric is printed with this solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its smooth texture, translucent and speckled appearance, and elastic feel. Therefore, this fabric is perfect for clothing items such as t-shirts, as it is comfortable and flexible to the body. Moreover, in particular, this fabric is very suitable for the timeless season due to its composition and weight, making it ideal for use at any time of the year.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied and extensive, notably in fashion for both women and men, especially for knitwear and t-shirts. Additionally, it is also ideal for creating fashion accessories such as scarves, handkerchiefs, among others.
For the proper maintenance of this fabric, it is important to take into account some specific care instructions. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid bleaching, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature. Furthermore, this fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which consists of applying heat and pressure to the fabric and pigments, which penetrate the fabric fibers instead of remaining on the surface. This allows for greater intensity and durability of the color, as well as greater softness and naturalness to the touch.
