The base fabric is the Tromso Water-Repellent Antibacterial Fabric, a technical fabric composed entirely of polyester, with a weight of 160gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a combination of pink and reddish-brown, reflected in a CMYK of 16 29 22 2. This secondary color can be described as a harmonious blend of slightly pink and brown tones, giving it a warm and soft appearance. Pink and brown are tones associated with warmth, tenderness, and softness, which can also be combined with other shades like white, black, and lighter tones.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. Digital textile printing offers high print quality and allows for reproductions of high-definition and detailed designs, even in the most complex colors.
The fabric has a series of features, such as a water-repellent finish, which means it is resistant to water and moisture. It also has an antibacterial finish that prevents the absorption and spread of microorganisms. The texture of the fabric is rough to the touch, providing a rustic and natural feel.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, fashion, decoration, outdoor clothing, and accessories such as backpacks, wallets, and toiletry bags stand out. In decoration, it can be used for stretchers, paintings, sun loungers, cushions, tablecloths, and general home textiles. The fabric is very resistant, making it ideal for use in textiles for spaces where liquid spills may occur, providing useful value in its use.
Fabric care includes not bleaching, a maximum washing temperature of 60ºC, and it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is possible to iron at a warm temperature, however, the fabric cannot be tumble dried to avoid deterioration of the fibers of the base fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-definition printing thanks to the chemical reaction that occurs when reactive inks are subjected to a specific temperature and time, achieving direct polymerization in the fabric structure, rather than a superficial superposition of the ink.
