The base fabric, Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Brilliant Maroon Red, with a Cyan ink of 17, Magenta of 95, Yellow of 58, and Black of 7. This CMYK combination creates a deep and vibrant tone that stands out in any project. In addition, the Brilliant Maroon color pairs well with other shades of red, orange, and brown.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. The general characteristics of the base fabric include its hydrophobic and antibacterial finish, as well as a rough texture and a soft and pleasant feel. Furthermore, the printed color is durable and resistant to fading.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we find fashion projects such as trousers, backpacks, wallets, and coin purses. It is also ideal for decoration projects, such as sun loungers, cushions, tablecloths, and frames. The technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric allows it to be suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
It is important to consider certain care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 60ºC, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, and ironing at a warm temperature. Additionally, it should be avoided to tumble dry it.
The technology used to print this fabric is sublimation, which is a process in which the ink is heated until it turns into gas and penetrates the fabric, permanently fixing itself therein. This process allows for bright and long-lasting colors. This technology achieves high image quality and great sharpness.
