The base fabric is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Light Orange with a CMYK of 11 29 87 2. The secondary color is a soft and bright shade of orange that radiates warmth and optimism. It combines perfectly with brown, beige, and ocher tones, as well as with more vibrant shades such as emerald green and fuchsia pink. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its water-repellent finish that makes it resistant to water, its rough texture, and its antibacterial finish that makes it ideal for applications in humid environments exposed to bacteria. On the other hand, the solid printed color is vibrant and durable thanks to the printing technology used. It is important to mention that this fabric is designed for applications in fashion, decoration, and accessories due to its technical composition and characteristics.
Among the applications and uses of this type of fabric are: fashion (pants, backpacks, purses), accessories (toiletry bags, wallets), decoration (cushions, tablecloths, paintings), and outdoor (sun loungers, cushions). It is a versatile and functional fabric that adapts to different needs and styles.
Regarding care, it is important to note that this fabric should not be bleached or tumble dried. In addition, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC and iron at a warm temperature. It is important to avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of the transfer of ink through the vaporization of a solid ink into a gas, which then adheres to the surface of the fabric. This printing process guarantees the durability and quality of the printed color.
