The base fabric of this textile is the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Bronze Orange, with a Cyan ink proportion of 20, Magenta of 58, Yellow of 100, and Black of 9, in a CMYK of 20 58 100 9. This shade of orange has a rough texture and provides vitality and energy. It combines very well with warm or neutral tones such as beige, white, or dark brown.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The blend of the base fabric and the printed solid color creates a very resistant and durable combination. This fabric has two main characteristics: it is hydrophobic and antibacterial, making it an excellent option for applications requiring high resistance to water and germs, such as in the manufacturing of outdoor clothing or kitchen accessories.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, ranging from fashion and accessories to home decor. It can be used for making trousers, backpacks, wallets, purses, and toiletry bags, as well as for manufacturing cushions and tablecloths. Its water and bacteria resistance makes it ideal for use on loungers or in outdoor displayed paintings.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and ironed at a warm temperature. Tumble drying is not advised.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which employs a specialized printer that prints the design onto transfer paper, which is then placed on top of the fabric and subjected to high temperatures and pressures. In this way, the ink goes directly from the paper to the fabric, through an evaporation process that allows it to permanently fix into the fabric fibers. This sublimation printing process produces detailed, high-quality designs that are imperceptible to the touch and do not rub off or fade.
