Water-Repellent Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso

The base fabric of this technical textile is the Water-repellent Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, composed entirely of polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a dark green tone, specifically DarkSeaGreen, which is achieved through digital textile printing with cyan, magenta, and yellow ink in percentages of 34%, 6%, and 33%, respectively, and without black ink. The resulting CMYK from these percentages is 34 6 33 0.

The secondary color chosen for printing on this fabric, DarkSeaGreen, is a tone that symbolizes nature, serenity, and stability in color psychology. Technically, being a secondary color, it is obtained from the mixture of a greenish-blue and a greenish-yellow tone in a specific proportion. This color particularly combines with other ranges of greens, browns, and creams, making it ideal for applications in decoration and fashion in rustic and elegant trends.

It is important to note that this fabric is printed with solid color on one side only, using digital textile printing technology, which means it is not a mass-dyed fabric. The fabrics texture is rough to the touch, which gives it resistance and durability.

As for care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a warm temperature and cannot be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from a special printed paper to the fabric using a heat press. This process is carried out with high temperature and pressure, which ensures the durable fixation of the color to the fabric.
