The Anti-Bacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso is a type of technical fabric with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 160 gr/m2. Its width reaches 150 cm, and its care instructions indicate that it cannot be bleached or dry cleaned with trichloroethylene, but it can be washed at a maximum temperature of 60°C and ironed at a warm temperature. Its application is very wide, ranging from fashion, accessories, interior and exterior decoration, as well as for manufacturing garments such as trousers, wallets, backpacks, or toiletry bags.
The plain color printed in Green Blue Green, according to the indicated CMYK (37, 6, 29, 0), has an aquamarine hue with a greenish touch and a rough finish to the touch. This color combines very well with neutral tones such as white and beige, as well as with earthy tones like brown or light orange. It is important to note that for printing this plain color, a single-sided digital textile printing technique is used, which allows the color to set more durably and resistant to washing.
This fabric has several features, including its water-repellent finish that makes it resistant to water and its antibacterial finish that reduces the formation of bacteria and bad odors. In addition, its rough texture and resistance make it ideal for outdoor use, such as in the manufacture of sun loungers or garden cushions.
In addition to what has been mentioned regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, this water-repellent and antibacterial fabric is ideal for manufacturing tablecloths for dining rooms, cushions for the living room and bedroom, as well as for the kitchen. All these products have in common the need for water-resistant fabrics that reduce both the formation of bacteria and bad odors.
For its care, it is important not to bleach it and not to use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C and iron at a warm temperature to preserve its properties, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacturing of this base fabric is sublimation for polyester, which allows for a more durable and precise fixation of the color on the fabric surface. This is achieved through the application of heat and pressure in the printing process.
