The base fabric we are discussing is the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso. Its printed plain color is Cadillac Pink, which is obtained with a CMYK of 13 45 4 0. This color reflects a delicate and sophisticated elegance, a pink tone that moves between pale pink, dusty pink, and old rose with a touch of shimmer. It combines very well with pearl gray, beige, white, black, and navy blue.
The fabric has been printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. In terms of general characteristics, the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso is composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It has a hydrophobic finish that makes it water repellent, and its rough texture is due to the technical weaving technology. It also features an antibacterial finish, which is ideal for use in home textiles or clothing.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, its use in fashion, accessories, interior and exterior decoration stands out, both in home textiles and fashion textiles. For example, in womens and mens fashion, it is used for making trousers, purses, backpacks, and wallets. In home textiles, it is used for making tablecloths, cushions, and embroidery hoops, to name a few examples.
It is important to consider the necessary care for this type of fabric. It should not be bleached, and the maximum washing temperature should not exceed 60ºC. It allows dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene and can be ironed at a warm temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). In this technique, the dye is sublimated directly onto the base fabric, fusing the dye into the fabric fibers to achieve a durable, sharp, and high-quality print. Sublimation is ideal for printing technical textiles such as the Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, which require a technical and efficient printing process to offer the best result in terms of quality, durability, and resistance.
