The base fabric of this breathable Fresh technical fabric, made of 100% polyester, has a weight of 135 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. As for the printed plain color, it is a cornflower blue tone, obtained through sublimation printing technology using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. The combination of these inks with a proportion of 42-25-3-0, respectively, produces a soft, fresh, and serene color.
This cornflower blue color represents peace and tranquility, evoking the sky and sea on clear and bright days. It combines perfectly with neutral colors such as white, gray, and black, as well as with warm tones such as pink, yellow, and green. The fabrics texture is soft, with a breathable and elastic finish that makes it ideal for making sportswear or hair accessories, such as hair ties or scrunchies.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it is not a deep-dyed fabric but superficially printed. Therefore, it is important to follow the care recommendations indicated on the garment label to prevent the color from fading over time. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Regarding its printing technology, sublimation is a technique that uses special inks to print the design on special paper and then transfer it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for high-quality, high-resolution printing on polyester fabrics, with great durability and resistance to washing and wear. Furthermore, by not being applied directly to the fabric, but rather sublimated, the effect is higher image quality, brighter tones, and more vivid colors that do not fade easily.
