The base fabric of the Windproof Waterproof Fabric - Target is a technical fabric, made of 100% polyester and with a weight of 116 gr/m2. Its width is 145 cm and it is mainly used for both mens and womens winter clothing and also for sports raincoats. The plain printed color, which is obtained with sublimation technology (polyester), is an eggplant purple tone with a combination of cyan (50%), magenta (87%), yellow (39%) and black (47%) inks. This secondary color has a dark, muted and deep tone, with a certain air of elegance and sophistication. In addition, it combines especially well with warm tones such as browns or beiges, and also with cool tones such as grays or blues.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The base fabric is waterproof and has a thin and soft feel. These characteristics, together with its composition and weight, allow high resistance and durability, even in difficult conditions of use.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are varied and focused on the world of sports and fashion, in particular, mens and womens jackets and down jackets. Its use in sports raincoats allows sports to be practiced in adverse conditions without worrying about your clothes.
Regarding care, it is important to note not to bleach the garment and not to dry clean it. The washing temperature should not exceed 40ºC and ironing should be at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is also not recommended.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows the transfer of the printed design from transfer paper to the fabric, through heating and pressure application. In this way, high printing quality is achieved with great precision of details and vibrant and long-lasting colors.
