The base fabric is the Windproof Waterproof Fabric - Target, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 116 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is green, army green, with a CMYK of 67 46 100 46, which indicates that it is a dark and warm tone with a high proportion of yellow. This secondary color combines especially well with neutral tones such as beige or gray, but also with other dark colors such as brown or navy blue. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the plain color does not penetrate the fiber but is deposited on the surface.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, it is worth noting that it is waterproof, which makes it especially suitable for outerwear, in addition to being thin and having a soft touch at the same time. On the other hand, the printed color provides great intensity and durability, since digital textile printing allows a wider and deeper range of colors than traditional dyes.
The Windproof Waterproof Fabric - Target has multiple applications and uses, as indicated in the previous description. For example, it is used in outerwear such as jackets or down jackets, as well as in raincoats for outdoor sports. It is also suitable for fashion garments for both men and women. It is a fabric especially suitable for the winter season due to its impermeability and thermal insulation.
It is important to note that this fabric requires some special care to ensure its durability and maintenance. It is recommended not to bleach it, not to dry clean it, iron it at low temperature and not to tumble dry.
The printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring ink from special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This printing method provides greater color accuracy and durability compared to other printing techniques such as screen printing.
