The base fabric, Waterproof Windbreaker Fabric - Target, is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 116 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 145 cm. It has a waterproof finish that makes it perfect for use in sports and fashion apparel, whether for men, women, or children. Additionally, it is ideal for the winter season thanks to its wind and water protection properties. The plain printed color is camouflage green, which is achieved through four inks: cyan (55), magenta (29), yellow (48), and black (11). This secondary color is very symbolic, as it evokes purity and nature. It combines especially well with neutral tones, such as gray or brown, and with darker colors, such as black. Although it is a striking color, it can be used in a variety of garments, both sports and fashion.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the print is only on one side of the fabric and that it has not been dyed as happens with other fabrics.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are high quality, both in its texture and its thin feel. It has a high performance in protecting against adverse weather conditions thanks to its waterproof finish. In addition, it is resistant and durable to changes in temperature and sunlight, which makes it ideal for use in high-quality garments. Among its applications and uses, highlights include fashion and sports jackets, down jackets, raincoats, as well as any garment used in winter that requires wind and water protection.
The care of this fabric is essential for it to remain in good condition. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature should be 40 ºC, it should be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried. The garment does not allow dry cleaning as it could affect the waterproof finish.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation (polyester). This technique allows ink to be fixed to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a high-quality and durable print on the fabric surface.
