The base fabric for this material is Recycled Crepe Chine - Eros, a polyester crepe with a weight of 82 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is a shade of purple, with a cyan ink of 16, magenta ink of 35, yellow ink of 4, and black ink of 0, resulting in a CMYK of 16 35 4 0. This secondary color has a symbolism that connects it with spirituality, creativity, and serenity, and pairs particularly well with earth tones and greens.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is a white base fabric that has been printed with ink to achieve that purple hue.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric and its solid color, we can highlight its soft and thin texture, which gives it a translucent and grainy feel to the touch, achieving an elegant and refined combination. Furthermore, this fabric is recycled and GRS certified, making it a sustainable option for making fashion garments and accessories in summer.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, we can highlight its versatility for creating all kinds of garments, from dresses and skirts to blouses and shirts. This fabric is also used in lingerie and in the making of wedding veils, thanks to its softness and delicacy.
Considering that it is a polyester fabric, it is important to follow the care recommendations provided by the manufacturer, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a low temperature.
Finally, it is worth noting that this fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology, which involves the transfer of ink through heat applied to the transfer paper on which the image is printed. The printed image is transferred to the fabric using a heat press, achieving a high-quality and durable finish.
