The base fabric in question is Recycled Crepe Chine - Eros, a crepe fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, with a weight of 82 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed plain color is cookie yellow-brown with a cyan ink combination of 20, magenta of 29, yellow of 98 and black of 7, represented by the CMYK value of 20 29 98 7. This secondary color transmits a feeling of sweetness and warmth, evoking nature with its tones similar to wheat, honey, and amber. The combination of cookie yellow-brown is perfect for complementing other pastel or neutral colors such as beige, grey, and white.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the printed design is on only one side of the fabric. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its thin, soft, and translucent texture with a grainy feel. These attributes make the fabric ideal for making womens fashion garments, such as dresses, skirts, and blouses, as well as lingerie and accessories such as scarves. The fabric has GRS certification and is sustainable and recycled, which makes it eco-friendly.
Regarding care, some important recommendations should be taken into account to maintain the quality of the fabric: it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C and bleach should not be used. It can be ironed at a low temperature and dry cleaning is allowed, except with ethylene chloride. The use of tumble dryers should also be avoided to prevent damage to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which ink is transferred through heat and pressure onto the fabric to create durable images with vibrant colors. This process guarantees excellent quality and sharpness in printed designs, and is ideal for synthetic fabrics such as polyester.
