The base fabric is Recycled Microfiber - Biarritz, a microfiber type with a 100% polyester composition. It has a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 147 cm. Regarding its care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, it allows dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. This fabric is timeless and has GRS certification, being sustainable and recycled.
The plain printed color is Platinum Grey and its ink content is 15% Cyan, 7% Magenta, 12% Yellow, and 0% Black, with a CMYK value of 15 7 12 0. This color is a light, slightly warm grey tone, which combines perfectly with bluish and muted green tones, thus providing a natural and calm sensation. The fabric is printed with this plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which implies high definition and image quality.
Among the characteristics of the base fabric, its soft, thin, and stiff texture stands out, providing resistance and softness to the fabric. As for the Platinum Grey color, its tonality provides elegance and sophistication to any garment made with it. Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is used in fashion, accessories, bags, wallets, swimwear, and bermudas, being widely used in sportswear. It can also be used as fabric for swimsuits, thanks to its resistance, comfort, and adaptability to the figure.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this type of fabric, it is recommended to follow the indications mentioned above. In addition, no type of bleach or softener should be used during washing and it is advisable to wash the garment inside out.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a technique that allows achieving high-quality printing, with bright and defined colors, through the use of inks that vaporize and integrate directly into the fibers of the fabric. This process is carried out through a specialized printer that prints on transfer paper and then the design is transferred to the fabric through a heat press.
