The base fabric is Recycled Microfiber - Biarritz, composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 147 cm. The solid printed color is a dark sienna brown obtained by combining CMYK sublimation inks with 30% cyan, 70% magenta, 70% yellow, and 31% black. This secondary color conveys an aura of sophistication and elegance, ideal for applications and uses that require a stylish and attractive aesthetic. It combines perfectly with beige, putty, and light brown tones to create a neutral and sober color palette.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This printing technique allows for high image quality and detail in the printed design, with sharp finishes and high color resolution that stands out on the base fabric. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric but is printed only on one side.
Regarding the general characteristics, the base fabric has a thin and firm texture to the touch, yet soft at the same time. This makes it a suitable option for accessories such as handbags, wallets, and backpacks. In addition, its recycled composition makes it perfect for swimwear, bermudas, and swimsuits, thanks to its high resistance and durability. It is also timeless, meaning it can be used in any season of the year. Certified by GRS, its sustainability is a plus when choosing it as an environmentally friendly material.
As for the applications and uses of the base fabric, as we mentioned earlier, it is a great option for fashion and accessories, as well as for sportswear and swimwear. In addition, its softness and texture make it ideal for creating garments that require a comfortable and pleasant finish to the touch.
Regarding the care of the base fabric, it is important to take into account the following recommendations: do not bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allow dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying. By following these tips, we will ensure greater durability and preservation of the fabric.
Finally, the sublimation printing technique is one of the most widely used today in the manufacture of printed fabrics. This technique consists of printing the ink on a transfer paper and then transferring the design to the fabric by means of heat and pressure. The advantage of this technique is that it allows for a wide variety of colors and designs with superior quality to other printing techniques.
