The base fabric is Recycled Microfiber - Biarritz, a 110 gr/m2 polyester microfiber certified as sustainable GRS. The plain printed color is Navy Blue, with an ink composition of 100% Cyan, 90% Magenta, 15% Yellow, and 2% Black, in a CMYK color profile of 100 90 15 2. This color evokes the deep sea and brings tranquility.
The combination of navy blue with colors like white, grey, and beige results in a minimalist and sophisticated ambiance. With red or yellow tones, it creates an interesting and vibrant contrast. The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the fibers are not dyed but impregnated with ink.
The fabric texture is soft to the touch and thin, yet rigid, making it ideal for fashion and accessories, as well as sportswear and swimwear. It is designed to be timeless, meaning it will always be in style. Additionally, as it is certified as sustainable GRS, it is known to have been made using recycled materials.
This fabric is easy to care for and ideal for fashion and sportswear garments: it can be machine washed at 30 °C and dry cleaned (except trichloroethylene); it should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried. It is important to follow these care instructions to ensure the garment has a long lifespan.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process where ink turns into gas at high temperature and pressure to penetrate the fabric fibers, ensuring the color does not fade and remains vibrant for longer.
