The base fabric is a recycled microfiber weighing 110 gr/m2, with a composition of 100% polyester and a width of 147 cm, featuring a soft texture to the touch and a fluid drape. The plain color printed on the fabric is a cotton white with an ink composition of 5 Cyan, 3 Magenta, 4 Yellow, and 0 Black in a CMYK format of 5 3 4 0. This printed color combines perfectly with intense tones such as dark blue or olive green. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but printed exclusively on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft texture, its resistance to tension and wear, as well as great durability. As for the plain printed color, its high quality, sharpness, and depth stand out. In addition, the combination of inks used for this plain printed color ensures excellent durability and color stability.
Regarding the fabrics applications, it is ideal for multiple uses such as fashion, accessories, bags, wallets, swimwear, sportswear, and bermudas. Furthermore, thanks to its soft texture and fluid drape, it is perfect for garments with movement, such as dresses and skirts that require a good drape.
It is important to consider the specific care instructions for the fabric, which include washing in cold water with a mild detergent and without bleach, and ironing at a low temperature to avoid damaging the fabric. Additionally, it is not recommended to use a tumble dryer, and it can be dry cleaned with the exception of trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which allows for excellent print quality and color durability, as well as great precision and detail in the reproduction of designs and colors. Sublimation is carried out using a special inkjet printer, which uses special pigment-based inks to print directly onto the surface of the fabric. Once printed, the fabric undergoes a thermal process that fuses the pigments into the fibers of the fabric, guaranteeing excellent durability, brightness, and color.
