The base fabric Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok is a 100% polyester georgette fabric weighing 90 gr/m2 and 150 cm wide. The plain printed color is Iris Purple, with a CMYK of 76 95 4 0, and it pairs particularly well with warm tones such as yellows and oranges. The fabric is digitally printed on one side. It is a fabric with a pleated finish and a translucent visual texture that conveys a sense of delicacy and sophistication.
The fabric is suitable for various applications, such as lingerie, dresses, skirts, blouses, among others. The pleating of the fabric adds a touch of elegance to the garments made with it. In addition, its translucency allows for the creation of subtle layers that provide depth and visual richness. In particular, this fabric is a good option for summer garments due to its delicacy and comfort.
It is important to consider the care instructions for this fabric. Bleaching is not recommended, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it should not be tumble dried. With these care instructions, the fabric will maintain its properties intact for longer.
The fabric is printed using sublimation, a digital printing technology specifically used for polyester. Sublimation works through heat, which converts the ink into a gas that penetrates the fabric fibers and then solidifies. In this way, the color is permanently printed on the fabric and will not fade or lose brilliance over time.
