The base fabric of this textile is Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, composed entirely of polyester with a weight of 90 gr/m2, and has a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color of the fabric is a unique combination of burnt red and pink, achieved by using a combination of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks in a CMYK ratio of 30 95 33 24. This secondary color is extremely versatile and pairs perfectly with many other vibrant and deep colors, such as dark green, deep purple, mustard yellow, and blue.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a fully dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side. This makes the color saturate more intensely and uniformly, ensuring sharper and brighter image quality.
Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok is a fabric characterized by its pleated finish and translucent visual texture, making it ideal for applications such as lingerie, wedding dresses, skirts, blouses, and scarves. The base fabric is also often used in swimwear, such as sarongs, due to its lightness and breathability. Thanks to its unique combination of characteristics, this fabric is perfect for the summer season.
Regarding the care of Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, it is important to take some basic precautions into account. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. For dry cleaning, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. This fabric should be ironed at a cool temperature and should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. The image transfer occurs through the application of heat and pressure to the fabric, allowing the ink to infiltrate the polyester fibers and ensuring durable, fade-resistant image quality.
