The base fabric for this material is Plissé Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 90 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a shade of Gulf Blue, with a CMYK content of 26% cyan ink, 7% magenta ink, 5% yellow ink, and 0% black ink. This color has a strong visual presence, with a translucent texture that allows the underlying print to be subtly distinguished. It pairs perfectly with beige or cream tones in fashion applications, and with more vibrant shades like fuchsia or yellow for accessories and complements.
This fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is printed rather than dyed. Digital printing allows for designs with great detail and definition, at a faster pace and with a wider variety of colors than traditional printing methods.
General characteristics of the base fabric include a pleated finish that makes it ideal for womens fashion applications, such as dresses or skirts. Its translucent texture provides a modern look, with a light and very comfortable drape. Additionally, the fabric is perfect for the summer season due to its lightness and freshness. As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, not to exceed 30 degrees Celsius when washing, not to use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron at low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation, a technique where an image is printed on transfer paper using special inks, and then heat and pressure are applied to transfer the image to the fabric. This produces a high-quality print with intense and long-lasting colors.
